EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - Aged Care and Disability Support Workers required

The Parkside Foundation is a disability and aged care service in southern Tasmania.  Our services are personalised, family oriented and high quality.  Our Vision is for all Tasmanians "To live a full life with purpose".

Disability
Our disability team are seeking dedicated support workers across our broad range of supports, including social and community based programs, short term accommodation, one on one support, school holiday program, evening and weekend support. 

Aged Care
Our aged care team are looking for support workers across all localities, including Huonville, Kingston, Sorell and surrounding areas. The team are short of male workers and keen to employ people who speak Nepalese.  There is also a need for support workers who have the capacity to work early morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Successful applicants will need:

  • Police Check (Aged Care)
  • Working with Vulnerable People Check (Disability support)
  • First Aid
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Full driver licence

Highly Desirable:

  • Medication endorsement
  • Experience in the relevant sector
  • Mental Health experience or training

Support Worker or Tutor expressions of interest

If no positions are currently available, applicants are still welcome to submit an expression of interest for a Support Worker or Tutor (in one of our programs).

It is a mandatory requirement that all workers in the Aged Care Sector present a National Police check prior to employment, however a WWVP accreditation may be deemed satisfactory.  Those working in the Disability Sector will need to present a NDIS Endorsed WWVP accreditation.
